  1. Everything effects tone to some degree, but painting on plastic (or metal) pickup covers would be an extremely minimal effect, possibly not even noticable / audible without analysis equipment!

  5. Although i did these for ESP, I dont work for the ESP custom shop (im freelance) but when i do pickups i paint them, same as the guitar.

  7. wait but when they do other custom shop guitars with emg or sd black outs do they paint over the pickup or do they cover it aswell
