  1. man this was the most random happy accidently stumbled onto video i’ve seen on this subject and it’s been seriously one of the most informative. i loved to see how he cleaned that brush. that was legit and honest. you can tell that he really has his heart in his work and in his tools. i’m currently (possibly in the next 10mins) going to order brushes to start learning to ink… bad part is i just bought that very same BAD ink like two days ago lol. btw… what’s so bad about it??

  2. How do you get page rates for your comic book pages before getting it published?…

  3. Hello Doug, I really appreciated your help. Can you pass any technique to improve my inking with brushes, its so difficult, thanks.

  4. bristol board is that similar to poster board by chance?
srry if its a stupid question but ive never been able to tell the difference

  5. we need more professionals like this doing more videos like this.

  6. All the stuff like Doug’ s books, all of them, and that sumi ink, etc etc, can be easely find on Amazon. At least i did.

  7. I thought Beast was canine more than feline. Here he looks like a pussy. Literally!

  8. where is storm and rogue??? who is Emma Frost? im lost. X-men isn’t the same :(

  9. I hate how motion comics look. I don’t think direct adaption is the way to go. The flow doesn’t work as well off the page. And the voices sounded better in my head… I believe that’s called schizophrenia.

  10. Your both right, mutant is the topic of the day. One day we will fear something else. Gay, Black, White, Jewish, Islamic will all one day mean little. It will be Cloned, ‘Enhanced Humans’, Gen’ Freaks and whatever else we come up with. Hate is the one universal we seem to not be able to get rid of.

  11. actually, I find that X-men is more of the holocaust because Mutants = Jews, Senator Kelly = Adolf Hitler, and so on

  12. Thank you racism for being the inspiration that brought us Xmen. Xavier= MLK jr? Magneto= Malcolm X? Mutant lover? All seems familiar.

  13. no sir. its the evolution of art. art is a changing form and just because things are becoming digital doesnt mean were destroying it. the art of telling a story has been around for a long time and just becasue were not reading a book or sitting around a camp fire listening to passed down stories, doesnt mean were destroying it.

  14. this is so freaking stupid. seriously people!?!? could we find any more reasons to ACTUALLY NOT have to read anything? that’s right… keep force-feeding yourself with media that requires absolutely no brain power.

Ladies & Gentlemen, I give you….The Destruction of an Art Form!

  15. é verdade. os cara tenha inovar e acaba fedendo a coisa. Mantenha os x-men originais da era Jim Lee e do desenho animado. foda-se esses novos times.

  16. i read the entire comic a few days ago, greatest xmen i’ve ever read

  17. It’s dialogue. Not everybody speaks perfect English and good writing will reflect this reality. Just pick up any book.

  18. Emma Frost just needs to show some cleavage to the children.
